The quality of fatty acids and their value in sustainable development reflects a real social challenge, linked to health, sanitary safety and environmental problems.

In this context, improving knowledge and analysis of lipids, their production, conversion and metabolism requires improved, better performing national technological and scientific research.
 

The Carnot Lisa institute obtained at the end of April e renewal of its labelling for a duration of 5 years. It is about a recognitionof the work carried out there for four years consolidating the professionalism of the structure, its capacity to generate some partnership research and the scientific ressourcement. ITERG takes back the management of this Institute within a tripartite governance ITERG / IMBL / University of Bordeaux>
